Shalom Hospital Pediatrics service

Child remains the major area of concern for parents and for us too! So we have taken a lot of care to establish the Paediatric Department. We have taken special steps to ensure that the environment is friendly and warm so that the child does not get scared. This department caters to all health care needs of children, from birth to adolescence. At the daily OPD, paediatricians treat a wide variety of childhood ailments, referring surgical conditions to paediatric surgeons who operate regularly at the hospital. In addition, emergency care is provided round the clock. Paediatrics Department of Shalom Hospital is a Premier Tertiary level department since it takes care of both preventive and curative aspects of children's health. The department is managed by one and two parttime Pediatricians, one Pediatric Surgeon and one part-time Pediatrician. The services offered include general out-patient and in-patient care and pediatric surgical services for children of all age groups including new born care. Paediatric Surgical work includes management of all birth defects and diseases specific to children as well. Paediatric Laparoscopic Surgery is the highlight of this Nursing home.
